By the Wayside is a short story collection showcasing a number of Anne Leigh Parrish’s gripping works of literary fiction focusing on strong female characters wrestling with all of life’s hardships and making the most of its joys. The majority of the stories included in the collection had been previously published, so I simply provided a final proofread to give the collection a fine polish before the author began to submit it for publication.
