The Amendment, Proofread

Anne Leigh Parrish is the author of By the Wayside and What is Found, What is Lost. She specializes in literary fiction that centers around strong female leads, and The Amendment fits that bill perfectly. It follows middle-aged Lavinia, who has been suddenly widowed in a freak accident. Her loss and the confusion and guilt it creates in her heart prompt her to take a road trip to figure out who she is and who she wants to be. I provided Parrish with a simple proofread to polish her prose and clean up any stray errors before she submitted to publishers. The Amendment is currently out for consideration.
